We are delighted to announce that DMSG has won the Start-Up Business of the Year title at the Cardiff Business Awards 2017!
Cardiff Business Awards, now in their third year, recognises business and entrepreneurs who have demonstrated significant success and made a substantial contribution both to their respective sectors and to the Cardiff economy itself.
Unique to many other awards, Cardiff Business Awards conducts a detailed selection process that requires all finalist to be interviewed by a panel of judges. This year the judging panel included Professor Dylan Jones-Evans OBE; Ken Poole, Head of Economic Development at the City of Cardiff Council; and Rhys Williams, Business Development Director for NatWest.
This year’s event was held at the lavish City Hall venue with 470 guests and hosted by BBC Wales news reader, Jamie Owen. The evening commenced with a great live performance from Lucie Jones, followed by a three-course dinner before the main event of the evening; the 17 awards.
DMSG had a great evening, made even more fantastic by picking up an award. Our Director, Paul Matthews says;
“We are shocked and delighted to have won Start-Up Business of the Year at Cardiff Business Awards. It’s a great feeling to be recognised for the hard work and fantastic results that our team have achieved in such a short space of time.
Being part of the Cardiff business community and the Welsh economy is an important element to the success of our business. It’s a very exciting time for business in Cardiff and with a huge contribution from the likes of the BBC and a growing start-up community, we’re proud and excited to be playing a part.
I would like to say a huge thank you and congratulations to our team, who have been instrumental in our success.”
Hosted by Grapevine Events, Cardiff Business Awards is a great opportunity to celebrate the success of young, established and growing businesses in the area. Congratulations to all the finalists and winners on the night.
